Diocesan Catholic Youth Convention

March 23-24, 2019, St. Mary Grade School and Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High School, Salina.

A two-day experience of prayer, learning, & community for Catholic high school teenagers & their adult Chaperones & Youth Ministry Leaders.  Includes keynote speakers, general session, Eucharistic Adoration, Sacrament of Reconciliation, Liturgy, breakout sessions, election of Diocesan Youth Council, a dance and more.

Sarah Swafford is the founder of Emotional Virtue Ministries.  She understands the struggles facing teens and young adults today.  She shares her message at school assemblies, retreats, rallies, and conferences around the world.



The cost of the Convention is $ 90.00 per person with a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $ 45.00 per person due at the time of pre-registration.  This includes hotel room & lunch on Saturday & Sunday.  Youth, Youth Council members, and Adult Sponsors pay the full fee.  Pre-registration deadline for the deposits and Legal Forms is February 25, 2019.  After that date there is a $ 5.00 per person late fee charge.  Sponsors requesting one or two persons to a room will be charged an additional $ 40.00 per room.

All adult sponsors must be in compliance with the Diocese of Salina Safe Environment Policy (have a current Background Check and have completed the Safe Environment Training).
